Introduction to the area

Azahar residential park   is located in peñíscola, one of the most beautiful areas on  the east coast of spain. Costa del azahar is also known as the orange  blossom coast. We are surrounded by picturesque countryside amongst orange groves, rosemary fields, hollyoaks, olive trees and almond trees,  a park to spend your family holidays. Next to an impressive pine and eucalyptus forest, that makes up  the irta´s saw nature reserve, which is ideal for those who wish to go on bike tours, mountainbiking, mountaineering, horseriding, and donkey treks as the area  is well signposted. There is 15 km of fine sand beaches nearby. If your prefer watersports. There you will find a windsurfing school with skin diving,  surface and submarine fishing and lots of other water activities closed to hand. Not forgetting that we are only  one hour drive from salou´s great theme park port aventura and waterpark, suitable for all the family.

We are only 5  minute walk to go-kart centre and 15 minute walk to a  large commercial centre. Here you will find a multiplex cinema, bowling alley, english, spanish and american restaurants and bars,  gift shops, clothes boutiques, jewellery shops, clubs and a  supermarket to name a few. A golf course, tennis club and quad bike centre are all within 3 km.

Just 5 minute drive into peñíscola town you will discover a magnificent historic castle which was also the setting for the film “ el cid”. Peñíscola is full of life along the beach front with plenty of bars  and restaurants to choose from.

The park is on a flat area with lots of natural shade from palms, pines, black populars, melias, and plane trees and offers a relaxed international environment.

Azahar park offers its customers five types of luxurious lodgings, all brand new and fully furnished. Log cabins, wooden chalets, apartments, mobile homes and bungalows with satellite t.v.

Luxury mobile homes are also for sale, sited on individual tree lined plots all with own small garden area.

Internet and telephone connections are optional. 

The park is also a touring caravan site for long or short stay. The wide plots between 80m2 and 150m2 are equipped with water, electricity, sinks and waste pipes.

At the multilingual reception area we provide a night time gated security and safe keeping for valuables. We also have a telephone box which is coin or card operated, mailbox, internet café, fax service, money exchange, real estates agents, tourist information and advisor office.

The general facilities on site are:

Swimming pool with jacuzzi, children´s pool and playground surrounded by lawns and palm trees.

There is  a restaurant and  bar area with varied menu, terraces, shop, social room, bicycle hire, and communal bbq area.

The campsite supplies two modern and new sanitation blocks heated with showers,washbasins and separate toilets including hot water and facilities for small children (bath tub). Laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers on site, toilets for disabled people etc.

Our sports facilities that are available are: basketball, table tennis, gym, pool table, crazy golf, darts and pentanique.

The spa centre (gym,turkish sauna,findlandish sauna,jacuzzi,ciclonic shower,fountain ice,hydomassage bath and squash) is due to be open in summer 2006

We also have a wide activity programme, children games, competitions, excursions, spanish lessons and swimming courses for beginners and advanced.

All the facilities and  accomodation is especially equipted for disabled persons.
